If you use eyelash serums, this can cause complications for a number of reasons — they can extend the growth phase of the lash, which can lead to differing results on your lift. Please do not use any serums on your lashes 48 hours before and after the service.
If you use a retinol eye cream, please avoid using it for 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Please remove contact lenses prior to this service.

Lash serums (especially prescription or prostaglandin-based serums) extend the anagen — or growth — phase of your lashes. When the lash's growth cycle is altered, its ability to hold a uniform lift can become unpredictable: some lashes may lift beautifully while others don't hold as well, creating an uneven result. Pausing for 48 hours on either side of your service gives your lashes a stable baseline so your lift turns out even and consistent.
Retinol eye creams can leave a subtle residue on the lash line and around the eye area that interferes with the lift solution. A 24-hour break before your appointment is enough for most formulations to clear.
